What strikes you most about Playa Negra Retreat is the relaxed ambience of this beachfront villa. The interior is a gorgeous combination of natural materials, from the rattan futons and pure cotton covers on the cosy sofas to the use of honey-toned timber throughout. The living area has a bold stone feature wall that gives the whole space an organic feel. It merges seamlessly with the dining space and modern kitchen, where you'll find every appliance you need to create snacks, meals or cocktails. The six bedrooms are elegantly yet simply decorated to create tranquil spaces. Two bedrooms have king-size beds, while two more offer a combination of one king-size and two double beds each. The final two bedrooms are ideal for younger guests, with each room featuring comfortable bunk beds. A total of seven bathrooms means nobody will have to wait for a morning shower.
Outside, the sun terrace is dominated by a jaw-dropping 20m pool, just the spot for some early-morning laps before breakfast. A wealth of experiences are available, from horseback riding to surfing and yoga lessons.
