This home’s open-plan living area is made characterful by original details including the high ceilings, classic wooden shutters and bold artworks. The two whitewashed bedrooms are more subtly done, but still full of antiques and eye-catching canvases. Situated close to the heart of Notting Hill, it’s surrounded by boutiques, bars and restaurants, and within walking distance of Portobello Market. You’ll find Kensington Gardens to be within easy reach too, as is Notting Hill Gate tube station (only around a seven-minute walk away).

The flat has wonderful natural light from the high traditional windows. The Juliet balcony off the living room has a small table and 2 chairs and is a lovely spot to sit and enjoy a morning coffee or evening drink. The location is superb with excellent bus and tube links. The open plan kitchen/dining/living room means you are never isolated when preparing snacks or meals. The dining chairs are wonderfully traditional but are becoming fragile now that it might be wise to replace them soon. We really enjoyed our stay and will be returning at Christmas for our third stay in this property.

Always TOP service for booking and always TOP homes in their inventory. I'm never disappointed when I ring onefinestay for a booking, a home is always available in my preferred area and any additional requests I have are attended to with any hesitation. I really want to commend Kayla for all the wonderful service and help she offered me. Service like hers is the reason I return to onefinestay each time I return to London.

- By design, the coffee table’s glass top balances on its base and is not attached.
