Just a short distance from the bright lights of Hollywood Blvd. and The Sunset Strip, the Mount Olympus area is naturally beautiful, with serene trails and peaceful parks where you can forget you're only a short drive from one of the busiest cities in the world. Spend your evenings sampling gourmet food in the restaurants of West Hollywood, explore the historic Bird Streets or browse the exclusive stores of Sunset Strip.
Floral Avenue puts all of this within easy reach yet offers a tranquil escape at the end of a busy day. It's a home that pops with colour and personality. The interior has taken its inspiration from the wonderfully vibrant mid-century style, complete with an iconic suspended fire orb as the focal point of the sitting room. The interior is flooded with natural light, thanks to the picture windows and floor-to-ceiling glass doors leading onto the patio. Colours complement and never clash, and there's a whimsical style to this charming home. The kitchen is fitted with the latest appliances, or you can go al fresco for a BBQ cookout on the terrace.
Floral Avenue has two attractive bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and a second with a queen-size bed. The choice of bright, floral motifs against eggshell blue décor gives the primary suite a boutique feel, completed with custom artwork. An ensuite offers twin vanity units and an indulgent soak tub with an integrated shower. The second guest room is just as thoughtfully decorated, this time in glowing russets, and has an ensuite. A second sitting room completes the interior, giving guests plenty of space to relax.
Outside, the patio offers truly spectacular views of LA. The famed writer Michael Connelly lived and worked here, and it's easy to see why – that view would inspire anyone to get creative. Luxury vacation rentals in California don't get much better than Floral Avenue.
