Just minutes away from the shore, the home is perfectly positioned for breathtaking views across the colourful buildings of Positano and out over the glittering sea.

Featuring traditional interiors overflowing with seafront charm, the crisp white walls act as a canvas for beautiful Vietri ceramic floors, intricately patterned fabrics, stunning local artwork and heirloom antiques. Gorgeous azure tiles cover the outdoor terraces, making you feel almost as if you were standing on the ocean waves as the colour blends seamlessly into the sea views beyond. Aspiring culinary experts will be delighted by the kitchen, which is large, fully equipped and fit for a chef.

Merope invites you to spend your days however you desire. Wake up to delicious breakfasts provided daily by the dedicated staff, then slide into the shimmering pool or treat yourself to a day of pampering in the massage room. Come evening, have a chef come in to prepare a delectable feast for you and your guests, and dine al fresco out on the terrace as the sun sets. As night falls, gather together and watch a film from the extensive collection or head to the hot tub for a spot of stargazing.

With six lovely bedrooms, Merope is ideal for families or groups of friends seeking seaside splendour in Positano. Rare for such a rugged area, the home offers an elevator providing step-free access to all but two of the bedrooms, allowing those with limited mobility to enjoy staying here too.

The villa is majestic and the breakfast chef did a good job every morning. Two maids kept the place spotless and the concierge booked everything we asked for. Boat trip was especially nice. Also the owner greeted us at check in which was a nice touch.
