Situated a short distance south of Tuscany’s crowning glory, Florence, Villa Fibbiano is a magnificent, three-bedroom villa that’s been innovatively and spectacularly renovated, resulting in a modern take on traditional Italian style. Combining terracotta-tiled ceilings and exposed timber beams with light, open-plan interiors and contemporary materials, the villa represents both the region’s extensive history and its continued relevance.

The villa is positioned atop a gently sloping hill and benefits from breathtaking views of the enchanting village of Volterra. To the north, Florence awaits and is approximately 90 minutes by car. This fabled Renaissance city needs no introduction - an awe-inspiring blend of remarkable architecture, unparalleled artistic heritage and fantastic food makes it a must-visit for all Tuscan tourists. The countryside surrounding the villa is also a pleasure to explore and there are plenty of hiking and cycling opportunities to enjoy.

The villa is designed to accommodate six guests across three exquisitely finished bedrooms, all of which feature double beds and indulgent ensuite bathrooms. On the main floor, the gorgeous interiors allow for easy socialising and are elevated via the intelligent use of a light colour palette and gleaming, reflective surfaces. The well-equipped kitchen boasts a sizable island and opens onto the dining room, with its glass table and pool views. Comfortable sofa seating abounds and guests also benefit from a gym space with workout equipment.

Outside, the villa’s expansive grounds are ideal for young children who require play space, as are the foosball and ping pong tables. The infinity pool can be heated in the cooler months and sun loungers are arranged around the water, encouraging you to lie back, take it easy and soak up the sun. The barbeque and outdoor dining table allow for memorable al fresco meals.
