Located within an exclusive gated community with stunning views sweeping across the Sea of Cortez and just a three-minute walk from the beautiful beach, Villa Sandcastle is a simply stunning home away from home. Sit back on the sun-kissed terrace and sip a margarita, listening to the waves lapping the shore and watching the whales out at sea.

The villa sits within the prestigious, private El Encanto community and offers spacious accommodation across five ensuite bedrooms. There’s a snug TV lounge that opens onto the terrace on two sides and offers breathtaking views across the azure water. A unique kitchen is a great place for cooking and entertaining with a large marble-topped island and breakfast bar at the centre, with candelabra suspended above; also opening out onto the veranda. A grand office provides ample space to work and enjoy some peace, while still taking in the charming views across the terrace and out to sea. The bedrooms - three with king-sized beds, one with a queen and one twin room - are exquisitely finished with rich wooden furniture, canopied or four-poster beds, luxurious furnishings, and beautiful views as well as access to private balconies or the sunny terrace.

Children can enjoy splashing in the pool, running through the gardens, watching movies in the cosy home theatre or playing in the games room, complete with air hockey, table football, The space also offers adults a bar and disco ball for fun nights in. Next door there’s a fabulous beach club with a bustling restaurant and a fully-equipped gym. If you’d prefer to stay at home for the evening, you can fire up the barbecue and cook a delicious grilled feast while gazing out to sea and watch the boats sail past. There are lots of shady, sheltered patios and seating areas to relax or to set up an intimate breakfast or lazy lunch.

The traditional-style villa is designed with classic elegance, featuring large stone pillars and exposed wooden beams. The terrace is a great spot to enjoy al fresco dining or relaxing, surrounded by sweet-smelling flowers and lush green palms. The patio steps down to the poolside terrace, lined with loungers, with a waterfall cascading into the sparkling infinity pool. Cross the small arched bridge to bury yourself amongst the cushions in the circular sunken lounge, submerged at the centre of the tranquil pool. Light the fire pit, sit back and listen to the flames crackling while you gaze up at the sparkling stars overhead.
