Pimlico has always had a reputation for being one of the more gentile neighbourhoods of the capital and is home to some of London's wealthiest residents. When Pimlico was designed as an extension of neighbouring Belgravia, priority was given to green spaces and gardens. That has made this Regency enclave a more sedate and tranquil spot, despite its proximity to Victoria and Westminster. The Royal Parks, Sloane Square and the River Thames are all within easy reach, and the area is home to a thriving café community where bistros and delicatessens line the streets. Buckingham Palace and Big Ben are a stroll away - and, for cricket fans, the Oval is just across the river - but don't miss Tate Britain, probably Pimlico's biggest draw.

Designed in a continental style and also accessed via the master bedroom as well as the signature spiral metal staircase, this is a private and sunny spot for unwinding at the end of the day. There is a cosy al fresco dining area for those warm summer evenings when you simply want to spend time with friends, a bottle of wine, and some nibbles. With Pimlico underground station just five minutes away, Charlwood Place is the ideal choice for a leisurely city break in one of the most historically significant cities in the world.

The property found through onefinestay was excellent. We appreciated the level of service, having someone meet us at the flat to check us in, and resources that they provided. The flat itself was as described via the listing! We will definitely book again.

This was our first rental through onefinestay. The accommodation was perfect for 4 people. The area is quiet and close to Pimlico and Victoria tube stations. The restaurants located in the surrounding area offer a variety of possibilities for all tastes. In short, this environment allowed us to have a good time at our own pace. After discussions, we found that this accommodation formula has, in our opinion, advantages over a stay spent in a hotel. We will consider onefinestay offers for our future trips.

- This home accepts babies, toddlers, children, and one well-behaved pet where an extra cleaning fee will be added to your booking. Please speak to our sales advisors for information.
- The fireplace in the sitting room is ornamental.
- The homeowner's housekeeper will attend on Friday mornings.
