Hidden away from the busy tourist hotspots, The Longhouse Villa is perched in the hills of Jimbaran on the southernmost tip of Bali. Inspired by their travels through the Indonesian archipelago, the owners worked in tandem with renowned architect Popo Danes to design a villa that would truly reflect the diverse beauty of these islands.

Epitomising an easygoing flow of indoor and outdoor living, the villa embraces authentic Balinese philosophy; the villa and its dedicated staff follow the mindset of Tri Hita Karana, which represents harmony amongst people, nature and God. Every 210 days the Odelan ceremony is held in the villa – if you are lucky enough to be staying here at that time, you are invited to join and immerse yourself in Balinese tradition.

The diligent butlers, chefs and full staff will take care of every little detail from the moment you arrive, leaving you free to stretch out in the yoga pavilion, relax in the spa or immerse yourself in a gripping novel in the library. Should you wish to venture out, the staff can organise guided trips to the hidden gems of Bali, or you may choose to drive to the local seafood restaurants, boutiques and beaches. Surfers will want to head to the nearby Bukit Peninsula, with its magnificent limestone cliffs and coves.

Each of the six individual bedrooms is named after an Indonesian island, and boasts breathtaking views over the Jimbaran treetops. With a children’s play area, The Longhouse Villa is perfect for families or groups of friends staying together.
