Fronting the soft sands of Koh Samui’s Mae Nam Beach, The Residences Estate is a tropical retreat for larger groups of family and friends. The villa makes a grand first impression with its palatial exterior and the location is hard to beat; you’ll have direct access to the beach through a private beach door.

The Residences is made up of two seven-bedroom villas: Villa Sila and Villa Wayu. The near-identical villas are charming and light, with large windows and traditional wooden ceilings. They can be kept as two separate spaces or opened up to create one large villa. Each one has a charming lotus pond and Thai artwork, which adds to the sense of place. Both villas have seven ensuite bedrooms with either twin or double beds, plus indoor and outdoor showers. Interconnecting rooms also have sunken baths, ideal for families.

In the manicured gardens you’ll find two long pools, covered dining terraces for al fresco meals and open-air lounges for breezy book reading. Inside, the spacious open-plan layout allows for sociable dining and lounging. There’s also a compact fully-equipped kitchen if you prefer to cook for yourself. Shared facilities on the first floor include a modern fitness centre, sauna, massage sala and a relaxing outdoor sala with beautiful views – a perfect spot for yoga. Kids are well catered for thanks to a separate children’s living room with large TV and bunk room. This exclusive villa puts you in the best spot for soaking up beach life on Koh Samui.
