Boasting an enviable location in the slopes of Sayan Ridge in beautiful Ubud, Villa Hartland Estate can be found near the Ayung River, overlooking the splendid rice fields and tropical landscape. Designed by celebrated architect Yew Kuan, the villa has been featured in the Hong Kong-based Home Journal as the ideal for tranquil Balinese living.

Offering traditional pavilion structures, the home features extensive use of natural materials throughout, making the interiors feel almost as if they were simply an extension of the natural environment. Most of the furniture is truly unique to the villa, having been handmade onsite by Javanese artisans using reclaimed teak or old ironwood. The home even has its own natural spring, its water being used in the gorgeous pool, the abundant vegetable and herb garden and throughout the house.

Villa Hartland Estate promises all the space and amenities you’ll need to spend your days exactly as you wish. Clear your mind in the meditation gazebo, sunbathe by the pool or explore the local area; adventurous guests can go mountain biking or river rafting, while those craving a spot of retail therapy can roam the endless chic boutiques in central Ubud. Come evening, the chef will prepare a delectable feast for you and your guests to enjoy in the dining pavilion atop the pool house, as the golden glow of sunset shines over the landscape.

Perfect for families or groups of friends, the five bedrooms are all spread across separate suites, each with four-poster beds and private gardens.
