onefinestay gives guests the opportunity to stay in someone’s home while they’re out of town. Guests get to live like a local and hosts get extra income, hassle-free. Expanding across more members, homes, guests and locations should be straightforward, right?

Well, not quite… Behind the facade of simplicity lies a complex “machine” which makes everything possible. No, it’s not invisible oompa loompahs who ensure consistency of service and experience, but rather a wonderful melange of people, systems and processes. And the show’s puppetmaster is “Central Ops” – the onefinestay laboratory. We define how things work, and get terribly upset when things don’t work to the high standards we aspire to. We are detailed and fastidious. We have a sixth sense for when things might go wrong. We speak softly but carry a big stick…

Let’s face it, we are not messing about. We are creating magic and want to conquer the world – and this cannot be done in half measures. We are looking for like-minded, equally ambitious people to join the team. You are incredibly smart, superbly practical, intensely curious, and unbelievably driven. You know who you are!

Responsibilities

We are looking for people to join the central ops team on 3 month internships. You will be exposed to all aspects of what we do on a daily basis including:

• Problem Solving: The complexities of our work are many and varied. We analyse the causes of issues and help develop practical solutions.
• Measuring: It’s hard to fly without instrumentation! We identify information critical to business performance, help capture and analyse data and report on a regular basis.
• Designing: We design solutions to ensure repeatability and consistency and then document these to create the onefinestay system.
• Managing Projects: We are at the heart of almost every project making sure they are executed successfully and that everyone involved are satisfied with the outcome.

As an intern you will get exposure to these kinds of activities on a daily basis. You are expected to work collaboratively, will be assigned a portfolio of specific activities which and report to senior team members.

At the end of the internship there will be a potential full time position for the right candidates.
