Offering both sprawling ski runs and a bustling centre of North American culture, Park City is the largest ski resort in the US. Spanning a staggering 7,300 skiable acres, the resort promises guests old and new the chance to unwind and escape the stresses of everyday life. From the breathtaking mountainscapes of Deer Valley to the lively boutiques, restaurants and après-ski of historic Main Street; a hub of skiing adventure in winter and a spacious, serene haven in the summer; Park City has it all.

With our incredible range of exclusive concierge services, you’ll have a host of sumptuous experiences at your very fingertips. Relax with your very own in-home spa experience, feast in the comfort of your home with your own personal chef or explore the scenery in style with your own private chauffeur. What’s more, it can all be booked pre-stay, meaning all you have to do when you get there is relax. Pure bliss.

A mountain town bursting with culture

Even when you’re not skiing, there’s plenty to experience in Park City. The most notable event of the area is undoubtedly the Sundance Film Festival, the largest independent film festival in the US. Film-lovers should come in January so as not to miss such a prestigious event.

Historic Main Street is famous for its sublime restaurants, chic boutiques and exciting nightlife, all of which are open year-round. Summer in Park City is more peaceful than peak ski season, but it’s certainly no less enchanting; roam the magnificent landscape, discover the wealth of native wildlife or visit the zipline at the Canyons for a day filled with thrills.

Hitting the slopes

Boasting 17 mountain peaks, over 330 trails and gorgeous powdery snow, it’s no wonder Park City is such a desirable destination for thousands of skiers every year. Evenly split between green, blue, black diamond and even double black diamond trails, there’s something to suit skiers and snowboarders of all abilities.

Learners will want to head to High Meadow Park. With its gentle terrain and immaculately groomed snow, the conditions are just right for getting to grips with the basics before taking on a blue trail. Your choice between Park City Mountain, Deer Valley or Canyons Village need only be affected by where you’re staying, since all three offer a vast range of ski trails – with that said, the Canyons are especially well suited to snowboarding. No matter where you’re based, abundant ski lifts and ski express routes will take you wherever you need to go in the blink of an eye.

If you feel like something a little different, head to one of the many terrain parks and test your jibbing skills. Little Kings and Pinedraw are best suited to beginners, Pick Axe and Transitions (the former of which pays homage to the area’s mining history) are excellent for intermediate skiers, while experts should take straight to the jumps and wallrides of 3 Kings.

Aprés ski aplenty

Whether you’ve been out snowboarding at the Canyons, hitting the slopes at Deer Valley or hiking up the mountains, head to Main Street for an evening of après ski delights. No Name Saloon is a firm local favourite, with its world-famous Buffalo Burger and vast selection of local beers. The whole establishment exudes a laid-back, trendy atmosphere, yet each of the four spaces – the main bar, mezzanine, rooftop patio and loft – has its own distinct ambience. The patio in particular is recommended for those who want a spectacular view over Main Street.

If you’d prefer a more open, light-filled space, try the Spur Bar & Grill, also on Main Street. Sit back and enjoy live music every night, spanning all music genres from rock to country to blues. With its heated floor, this is the perfect place to warm up after a day in the snow. Sip the bar’s own whiskey or choose from its wide selection of craft beers to start your night in style.

A little further out from the town centre lies the High West Distillery on Park Avenue. Bursting with historic charm, this place was founded in the late 1860s and remains to this day one of the most popular après ski destinations in Park City. The world’s only ski-in distillery, High West Distillery promises three things: excellent service, exuberant atmosphere and award-winning double rye.

Refuelling after a day of adventure

One of the oldest and most distinguished restaurants on Main Street, Riverhorse on Main is widely lauded as one of North America’s most coveted culinary spots. Its menu is ever-shifting, rotating with the seasons while still keeping a select few Riverhorse classics year-round. Riverhorse is suitable for parties of all sizes seeking an eclectic mixture of delectable cuisine from all around the world – regular nights of live music from local artists complete the perfect evening.

If you’re after a gourmet treat, Glitretind is the ultimate destination for dinner or Sunday brunch. Its Norwegian name translates roughly to “shimmering mountain” - an apt association given the restaurant’s spectacular backdrop of Deer Valley Resort. Grab a window seat and gaze out over the picturesque scenery as you tuck into fresh seafood and locally sourced ingredients, paired beautifully with one of over 750 different wines on offer. The menu changes completely twice a year, meaning eating at Glitretind is always a good idea, no matter how many times you've been before.
