Ready for a round on the glorious coastlines of the Caribbean?

Whether you’ll be island hopping through the Caribbean or basing yourself in a private villa just steps away from a world-class course, this astounding region offers some of the most spectacular golfing experiences in the world. Paired with glorious sunshine and dramatic sea views, you’d be hard-pressed to find anywhere more idyllic to enjoy a round or two.

While some Caribbean islands are a little too small to have their own golf course, you’ll be pleased to know that it won’t pose a problem for any keen golfer. A picturesque boat ride to the larger, neighbouring islands of Dominican Republic, Barbados, Jamaica, and Turks and Caicos will have you teeing off on the lush grounds of their renowned country clubs and courses in no time at all…

Royal Turks and Caicos Golf Club

Providenciales, Turks and Caicos

Set on the white sand and palm-fringed coast of Providenciales, the Royal Turks and Caicos Golf Club is an 18-hole championship golf course boasting a whole host of world-class features and amenities

Fully turfed with quality Platinum Paspalum grass, this award-winning club offers practice facilities, speedy rounds, and an on-site bar and restaurant overlooking the lush lawns of the 18th green. If you feel like switching it up a little, you can even enjoy a game of tennis on one of two flood-lit courts on the grounds of this expansive Turks & Caicos golf course.

Even without a membership, you can still book your rounds well in advance - there’s the option of both an 18-hole and 9-hole round, as well as weekly and monthly passes for those who plan on spending most of their time away on the golfing green. Unlike other Providenciales golf courses, after 3 pm, there’s no limit on your time - you can play as much as you like until it gets dark.

Sandy Lane Country Club

Holetown, Barbados

On the search for the best golf courses in Barbados? Less than a mile from the crystal-clear shores of Paynes Bay Beach, the Sandy Lane Country Club is home to three individual Barbados golf courses with two available to non-members and guests; The Country Club and The Old Nine.

Boasting spectacular panoramas of the Caribbean coastline from each course, the Sandy Lane golf course is easily one of the most inspiring locations to hone your skills. The trade winds here offer a welcome challenge for skilled golfers; but if you need a quick warm-up, there’s a practice putting green reserved for pre- and post-play.

When it comes to picking the ideal Barbados golf course, you really are spoiled for choice. Designed by Tom Fazio, The Country Club course offers 18-holes generously spread out across five lakes and 7,000 yards of lush greens. The Old Nine is a little smaller at 3,345 yards, yet the tight fairways and small greens make it a popular choice among those who like their courses to be a little more demanding.
