Sabrina Ghayour's Festive Hosting Tips
To celebrate the holiday season, chef Sabrina Ghayour has given us her top hosting tips for a fabulous (and effortless) festive celebration in a beautiful onefinestay home, villa or chalet.
Three effortless recipes and a zingy cocktail to make your festive celebrations go off without a hitch.
Preheat the oven to 220 degrees fan-assisted and line a baking tray with oven paper. Place the sausages on top and cook for 25-30 minutes until nice and browned.
In a large mixing bowl, mix the honey, harissa and a good pinch of salt together until evenly combined. Use a slotted spoon to remove the sausages from the tray and add them into the mixing bowl and toss them in the spicy honey glaze. Serve immediately.
In a mixing bowl, carefully mix all the ingredients lightly together and season to taste. Use a teaspoon to dollop some onto the tip of chicory leaves or into your favorite crispbreads and serve.
Add the beans, orange zest, garlic, crushed cumin seeds and some olive oil into a mini food processor along with a good amount of salt and pepper and blitz. Add some warm water to help blitz the mixture until smooth but not too much to make it watery.
Decant the mixture into a mixing bowl and add the orange juice and chopped parsley and mix well, adjusting seasoning if desired. Serve with crudités and toasted bread.
Fill a large jug with ice cubes. Add 300ml vodka and top up with cloudy apple juice. Squeeze the juice of a lime and add to the jug along with a handful of pomegranate seeds and a handful of mint leaves.
Stir and serve with ice in wine glasses, high balls or tumblers.
