An actor and creative based in New York, Courtney Halverson showcases gorgeous travel and fashion footage via her account @prettylittlefawn. Her bold, glamorous content speaks to a bygone age, telling stories 'with a cinematic eye'. Courtney picked Rue des Feuillantines as her hideaway in Paris, the apartment's opulent interiors and coppery tones perfectly matching her style and aesthetic. Courtney is also behind Maison Miette - a brand selling pretty and playful silk scarves inspired by some of France's most iconic foods.

What made you choose to stay with onefinestay for your trip to Paris?

"I've been to Paris quite a few times in the past, but usually staying in crowded areas or else in a small hotel. This time, I wanted to feel (just a little) like I was living like a local within a neighbourhood. I scoured the onefinestay website and had so many options to choose from, each with its own personality."

Describe Rue des Feuillantines in three words

"Historic, bespoke, warm"

What were your favourite features of the home?

"I really loved all of the little details. The beautiful ceramics in the kitchen, the large windows that all open out to the garden, the clawfoot tub, and the large dining room table. I think I would be hard-pressed to choose a favourite amongst all of these, but if I had to I would say the large windows were a top feature as it meant the entire house has beautiful light throughout the day."

Did you have a preferred place within the home?

"This is a tough one, but because we visited in spring I would have to say the private garden. It's quite large, and with multiple tables and chairs it was the perfect little oasis for morning coffees and afternoon apéros."

Tell us more about the neighbourhood - did you find any great local spots?

"Around the corner is a great Korean restaurant called Seoul Mama that we visited twice - it was divine. I also appreciated how close we were to the Jardin du Luxembourg, particularly as we had small kids with us that enjoyed running around there."

Did you have any ‘must-sees’ for your visit to Paris?

"On this trip I wanted very much to visit the Musée Rodin as well as Montparnasse Cemetery, so I'm glad we had time for that. We also spent an afternoon in Montmartre which was very easy to get to from the home by Metro."

And finally… where next?

"Our next destination is Tuscany for the start of summer and I cannot wait to be sitting in the sun!"
