Valentine’s Day doesn’t need months of planning to feel special. Sometimes all it takes is a spontaneous booking and the right backdrop: Parisian streets that beg for midnight strolls, rolling Tuscan hills that slow time, or a perfectly placed London address that sparks instant chemistry. You may not still be in the honeymoon phase - but you can absolutely book like you are. Fewer logistics, more longing, and a romantic escape worth falling for all over again.
Rue de Siam - Auteuil - Passy, Paris
Stay in the 16th and do Paris at a slower, more considered pace. Rue de Siam places you near the Bois de Boulogne, where long walks, good conversation, and indulgent dinners fill your days. It’s the kind of base that lets the city do the work, understated, elegant and quietly romantic without leaning into cliché.
One must-do:
Walk through the Bois de Boulogne, then head to Le Pré Catelan for a three-Michelin-star Parisian dinner.
Villa Bari - Providenciales, Turks and Caicos
Come to Taylor Bay to slow right down. At Villa Bari, days revolve around the sea, early swims, long afternoons in the sun, and the luxury of having nowhere else you need to be. It’s Valentine’s at its most unfussy, where barefoot feels like the only sensible option and the outside world fades without much effort.
One must-do:
Ask our Guest Experience team to arrange a private cooking experience, an unforgettable Valentine's evening - without even leaving the house.
Ladbroke Gardens VII - Notting Hill, London
Notting Hill does Valentine’s well, especially if you lean into its everyday pleasures. From Ladbroke Gardens, it’s easy to spend the day moving between cafés, market stalls, and colorful streets. When reservations get competitive, having a concierge who knows the neighborhood makes all the difference, leaving you free to take London as it comes.
One must-do:
Spend an afternoon wandering Portobello Road, then settle in at the Electric Cinema for a film and a glass of wine.
Florence is best enjoyed on foot, with a good appetite and no fixed plan. From Gismonda, the Duomo is a short walk, meals are decided on the day, and wandering tends to trump scheduling. With enough space to comfortably travel with children, it’s a rare setup where a family trip can still feel romantic, rather than logistical.
One must-do:
Head out at dusk for a walk along the Arno, pausing on the Ponte Vecchio as the light fades and the city settles into evening.
