The villa is set on a hillside overlooking the town of Positano, offering sensational views out over the town and glittering ocean below. Enjoy the views from all over the terrace, which is lined with verdant green plants and trees, leading down cool stone steps to a glorious infinity pool. Lie back on a sun lounger and watch the world go by, interspersing your view-gazing with dips in the pool to cool off. Finish off your sun-soaking with a stroll through the beautifully manicured gardens, which are laden with fruit trees and the villa’s own vegetable garden.

Meal times at Vicere are a real treat, with a well-equipped kitchen to rustle up Italian dishes - including pizza in the villa’s pizza oven. The extravagant dining area features plenty to feast your eyes on, from statues and paintings, to antique furnishings and patterned fabrics. Polish off your meal with a glass of wine on the terrace, watching the sun sink over the horizon.

There are 12 bedrooms at Vicere, sleeping up to 24 guests. All have been decadently laid out with bold fabrics and artworks, and feature queen-sized beds and ensuite bathrooms. Eight of the rooms also have access to terraces, providing a private spot to sip on a late-night tipple before turning in.

If you fancy exploring the local area during your stay, Vicere is within walking distance to Positano, where you can bar-hop, shop and sample local dishes at hole-in-the-wall restaurants.

    • Please note the Italian government might require the payment of a per person per day Visitor’s Tax depending on the location of the villa and may apply for the first seven days. This tax is payable locally, in Euro cash.
    • As an alternative a public elevator is available from Via Marconi to reach the higher part of town. A fee may apply for the use of the elevator, and hours of operation are set by the township of Positano.
