Located in a private gated community in Samaná province, Arrecife Beach House is a sublime, five-bedroom masterpiece spread across four storeys. It's an artisan's delight filled with unusual and unique motifs and welcomes up to ten guests. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows open that indoor-outdoor ambience, creating a villa filled with natural light, astonishing views, and a sensation of space. Every detail has been meticulously taken care of, from the gorgeous infinity pool that seems to melt into the ocean to the home cinema for those movie nights to the estate's private helipad and moorings for arrivals by air or yacht.

Playa Morón is one of the Dominican Republic's best-kept secrets. This enchanting beach in a secluded cove surrounded by palm forests and farmland is a real treasure. There's added interest for anyone keen on history too. A stroll along the beach will bring you to the original 18th-century Napoleonic canons used by the French to defend this shoreline. Close by is Samaná, an enchanting town filled with independent stores, high-end dining, and the centre of the island's whale-watching tours. You may even see the occasional whale as you soak up the beautiful seascape from the ocean-front sun deck of Arrecife Beach House.

The living area blends effortlessly from indoors to outdoors, while the dining area features a signature lighting arrangement with a charming boutique element. Each of the five comfortable bedrooms has an attractive, spacious ensuite bathroom, the two master bedrooms come with king-size beds and the remaining three have queen-size beds. Two jacuzzis help soak away your cares, and al fresco dining is the best way to socialise in the evening as the stars come out above you.
