While Grand Cayman may have a reputation for opulence and A-list celebrity hangouts, it’s also one of the most beautiful of the Cayman Islands. Seven-Mile beach lives up to its name, with seven miles of sugar-soft sand lapped by azure water. Inland, the Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park is home to the island’s incredibly rare blue iguanas, as well as a host of other wildlife inhabitants and unusual native flora. After all that exploring, it’s time to head to one of the island’s many restaurants and tuck into a conch stew with a stack of Johnny Cakes on the side.

Positioned between the exclusive Kaibo Yacht Club and the famous Rum Point Club, the contemporary simplicity of Kai Zen is balanced by the sheer magnificence of the natural surroundings. The two-storey villa uses negative space, simple white colours and minimalist décor to create a statement interior that's utterly serene. The living space is expansive and tranquil, while the superbly fitted kitchen has everything you need to create your own culinary concoctions. Two of the bedrooms are on the upper level, with king-size beds, ensuite bathrooms and private balconies. The third bedroom is on the main level and has a queen-size bed and direct access to the pool deck.

Outside, the gentle whisper of the Caribbean Sea and the rustle of palm trees fill the air. The seriously tempting pool is the perfect place for a morning dip or head to the beach for the ultimate early morning yoga session.
