Talk about being child-friendly. In the riverside Great River Private enclave, Allamanda Villa’s extensive provisions begin with a devoted kids room featuring four bunk beds, toys and video games. There are pack ‘n’ plays and booster seats, too, as well as a trained nanny on standby. But the true highlights are outside: an excellent playground, plus step-free entry into the saltwater infinity pool. What’s more, The single-storey building is wheelchair-accessible and guarded.

The two-acre gardens also contain distraction aplenty for everyone else: bocce and badminton equipment, a half-sized basketball court and pool and ping pong tables. Equally, you could claim the complimentary 60-minute massage that comes with each weeklong stay or charter your devoted driver to take you anywhere in Jamaica for free, 24/7. That could just be to the nearby, legendary Round Hill resort, whose sandy beach you can use without charge.

Back at Allamanda, sea-facing outdoor lounges and dining areas – meals are prepared on demand by the dedicated chef – connect fluidly to airy indoor equivalents beneath a wooden cathedral ceiling. Each of the five bright, air-conditioned bedroom, meanwhile, is attractively teak-floored. All three master suites boast walk-in showers; one also has an outdoor shower and Jacuzzi-style bathtub. Then there’s a connected, two-bedroom suite containing its own garden in which tree frogs call melodically at night.

Home Truths

*Allamanda can accommodate as many children as there are beds (2 adults and 10 children are possible).

*A nanny is required per 2 children if the ratio of children to adults is more than 2 to 1.

*Two Jamaican Brown Dogs live at Allamanda (Bonnie and Emily). They are both very friendly and are given free rein of the property at all times when the owners are in residence. If requested, however, the dogs can be kept in their ample dog run during the day and only let loose in the early evening to roam the property at night. Just let the staff know your preference.

*A 7-night, full-house rental is required for all holiday weeks which include Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Eve.

*There may be occasions when some or all the facilities of the Round Hill Resort may be closed for membership guest services due to a private hotel event.

*Round Hill reserves the right to change or alter its membership packages with no advance notice.

DEPOSIT

We will secure a $2000 security deposit which will be returned once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.
