Keen botanists will relish the opportunity to wander through the gardens; Japanese lantern hibiscus, West Indian lilies, and delicate orchids are just a few of the beautiful plant species you will discover. Stroll further and find an interesting variety of palms and orchid trees awaiting in the tranquil bamboo garden.

Designed in the 1960s by renowned architect Robert Hartley, Bambu Villa combines authentic West Indies architecture with opulent Italian Venetian influence. The result: an exceptional villa like no other on the island. Described as “blending Old World elegance with New World comforts”, this is apparent from the moment you step inside.

Outside, a beautiful circular swimming pool is encompassed by Palladian arches; the inspiration for this being the historic remains of Emperor Hadrian’s villa in Tivoli. Nearby, an elegant dining area connects to the gourmet kitchen and pantry area. Opposite, you will find the octagonal living room, which boasts magnificent views of the far-reaching Caribbean Sea. Here, you will also find the impressive master bedroom suite with its private veranda, two dressing rooms, and ensuite.

To the south of the pool, you will find two guest bedrooms and a children’s bunk room - all with luxe ensuites. To the north, a covered walkway leads to an additional bedroom wing with two more king rooms with ensuites. At the end of this wing is a lovely family room, complete with a fully-equipped bar and glorious sea views.
