This stunning and secluded pool villa perches on the hillside in southwest Koh Samui, surrounded by coconut plantations and with jaw-dropping views over the ocean to the Five Islands and Ang Thong National Marine Park. Part of the exclusive five-villa Headland Estate, which has direct access to a white-sand beach via a private walkway, Headland Villa 1 is a stylish two-bedroom sanctuary.

The villa has been designed to reflect its authentic local setting, with neutral earthy tones and an indoor/outdoor living concept. However, mod cons aren’t overlooked; you’ll find glossy finishes and contemporary sliding glass doors. The infinity-style pool, nestled in tropical foliage, is a highlight. There are two soothing bedrooms – one with a four-poster bed, the other with twin beds. Shared spaces include a light and airy lounge, a sleek gourmet kitchen and a natural wooden dining table.

A continental breakfast will be served each morning to ease you into the day, and you can spend your time trying out local watersports from snorkelling to sea kayaking. It’s also just a five-minute walk from the villa to some excellent restaurants and bars. Headland Villa 1 is a very special spot from which to soak up Koh Samui’s breath-taking scenery.
