Spectacularly situated in hills above Chaweng Noi’s beach, Villa Seawadee won architectural design awards upon its debut and continues to dazzle. From a waterfall entrance to the cocoon chairs and 180-degree views of aquamarine seas offered by an infinity pool deck, it’s a villa that constantly delights.

Seawadee particularly excels when hosting groups of friends keen to socialise and celebrate. LED lighting and a phone-controlled SONOS sound system allow you to dictate the tempo. Fold-away glass doors allow the open-plan living room to become one with that pool deck, creating a free-flowing space dotted with daybeds and beanbags. An eight-seat dining table and barbecue terraces offer additional gathering spaces, as well as suiting sunset cocktails.

Scattered across the three floors for solitude’s sake, three of the five bedrooms feature chic round beds as well as springy bamboo floors, private terraces, rainfall showers, floor-to-ceiling windows – covered by blackout curtains at night – and air-conditioning or climate-control systems. The master suite boasts a king-size bed and leads onto a terrace where the jacuzzi has its own music system. The final bedroom comes with a comfy queen-size bed. All five bedrooms boast decadent ensuite bathrooms.

Villa Seawadee's experienced staff are unobtrusive. They'll serve you a delicious daily breakfast and quietly clean when convenient. The manager can arrange a cook, masseuse or yoga teacher, as well as transport (with or without a driver) so you can visit Chaweng and laid-back Lamai’s bigger beaches, whizz along jungly zip-lines or meet the locals at elephant sanctuaries.
