With four spacious bedrooms and welcoming up to eight guests, this fun, characterful home immediately makes you feel like part of the family. Bishop’s Park is a serene spot that feels as if it’s a million miles away from central London. However, the theatres and Michelin-starred restaurants of the West End are just 20 minutes away by tube. Meanwhile, football fans are just a short distance from Craven Cottage, home to Fulham FC. Take a stroll along the footpaths that lead along the banks of the Thames and find a historic little pub for a spot of lunch before heading into Chelsea for some designer shopping.
This bright, cheery home feels so relaxed that you'll instantly kick your shoes off and unwind. The entrance level sitting room may be decorated in a contemporary style (complete with a feature cowhide rug), but there are still hints of the home’s Victorian roots with the beautiful bay windows and traditional fireplace. Two more sitting rooms provide guests with cosy spaces to socialise, with the third sitting room forming part of the brightly lit kitchen and dining space. Velux windows allow natural light to stream in, creating a wonderfully vibrant area perfect for chatting and mingling.
Four bedrooms offer a variety of sleeping arrangements and are decorated in soft colours to create mindful, restful areas. The main suite has a super-king-size bed and attractive ensuite, while the second and third bedrooms have a king-size and a spacious double bed, respectively. The final bedroom is a snug single that would suit a younger guest. The ensuites all have their own unique touches, including a dramatic stained-glass window in the main bathroom.
Outside, a family-friendly garden features a ping-pong table and BBQ with al fresco dining and a large lawn. A roof terrace is an ideal spot for an evening gathering, where you can spend time with family and friends, sip a glass of wine and nibble on a few treats from the local deli before planning the next day's adventures.
