Ahead of the curve
A grand entrance, high ceilings and subtly decadent decor – Horbury Crescent is as lovely as the treasures at nearby Portobello Road Market. But as you head left into the open-plan living area, the crowds feel far away. A delicate chandelier and gilded landscapes are offset by the bold abstract that hangs above the linen sofa, while the original fireplace and sash windows remind you of this building’s heritage.

Return to the entrance to find the master bedroom, where birds decorate the wall behind the upholstered double bed. The bathroom has a bath and shower amidst slabs of marble –look closely at the sink and you’ll spot a pair of Orthoceras fossils. This home is both old and young, classic yet avant-garde – but always ahead of the curve.

We are absolutely convinced that staying at the Horbury Crescent flat made our trip to London as pleasant and enjoyable as it was. The location, amenities, and comfort we found there after hectic but fun-filled days of tourism gave us plenty of space to come home to, relax, prepare simple meals and plan for the next day's adventures. onefinestay has a very friendly, attentive staff that provided some very unexpected surprises - services offered perhaps in a five star hotel but not an Airbnb. We already have friends who are hoping to book with them soon. The flat was in a fantastic location and on a street pretty enough for multiple tourists to stop and take a picture of it during our stay. Our welcome was friendly and informative. The yummy welcome gifts were much appreciated. Most everything we would have needed for our stay was there for us and of the highest quality. Loved that there was a small wine fridge in the kitchen! We would most definitely book Horbury Crescent again when we next visit London.

* This home doesn't have air conditioning. Between June and September, we'll place fans in each bedroom. Please let us know if you'd like fans outside the summer period.

* There is a sofabed in the sitting room which can be set up to accommodate one extra guest, bringing the maximum occupancy to three.

* The fireplace in this home is ornamental.

* While the TV in this home does not have freeview or satellite channels, it is set up for some online apps.

DEPOSIT

Upon your arrival we will secure a £1000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.
