This area of Belgravia is famous for its elegant townhouses, leafy squares, and tree-lined boulevards. Known as the 'Five Fields' during Tudor times, it went from being a haunt for highwaymen to one of London's more gentile neighbourhoods. Today, it's a thriving and lively place where you'll find fine dining on every street and plenty of independent stores to browse. Excellent links to the West End make getting to Drury Lane or Covent Garden easy for a night at the opera or theatre.
