Glimpses of the building’s heritage can be seen in the exposed brick walls and the classic double doors leading to the main living area. Period wash basins in the bathroom and wood panelling have been masterfully combined with on-trend furnishings and personal touches. This is a townhouse where you shouldn’t be surprised to glimpse a hammock nestled away in an alcove or clawfoot soak tubs next to rainfall showers.

Prospect Park also has that rarest of Brooklyn extras – its own external space. A charming private garden terrace allows you to experience the sounds of the city from the privacy of your own bijou garden, creating a soundscape that is pure ‘New York’. Home Truths

* There is a sofabed in the second sitting room which can be set up to sleep one person. Please let us know when you book if you would like it prepared.

* The second floor of this home has a communal heating system which is set by the homeowner.

* The walls and the furniture in the sitting room show some signs of wear.

* The curtains in the master bedroom and second bedroom do not completely block out daylight.

* The homeowner's gardener will visit Tuesdays between 10am and 2pm, and has a key to let herself into the home to access the garden.

* This home has air-conditioning in the dining room and master bedroom only.

* This home has two patios which are not pictured. We'll be taking photographs soon.


Upon arrival we will ask you to show your government issued photo ID.


A security deposit is required to secure the lease. The amount will be calculated and charged at time of booking.
