Welcoming up to 12 guests, Villa Pigau is a revived and restored ancient farmhouse surrounded by four hectares of private land and rolling countryside.

With its ancient stone mas structures and acres of vineyards and olive groves, this is a landscape that has inspired some of the world's greatest artists. Nestling between the towering hills are enchanting towns boasting family-run restaurants and artist's colonies. Your dedicated concierge can arrange for car hire so you can explore this wonderful region at your leisure, visiting towns like the historically significant Avignon and villages such as Cavaillon and Coustellet.

An exquisite combination of indoor and outdoor living, Villa Pigau embraces its history and enhances it with unique touches. The living spaces are comfortable and encourage guests to mingle and socialise. Or you can find your own quiet corner to settle down with a good book. Every element of this mas is filled with rustic charm, from the massive oak lintels in the living room to the exposed stonework and beams in the bedrooms. The kitchen is filled with the latest appliances but still has that traditional flair. It flows effortlessly into the dining room, or choose to eat al fresco in the outdoor living and dining area.

The villa’s bedrooms are characterful, offering bare stone walls and beams that span not just the ceiling but the centuries. Five of the bedrooms have indulgent king-size beds, while the sixth has two single beds and is ideal for younger guests. Décor is colour-coordinated in each room, creating a boutique feel throughout. Each room has its own ensuite or attached bathroom, as well as magical views across the landscape. One bedroom is located in a separate wing of the villa, giving a couple a little additional privacy if required.

Outside, the gardens blend with the shimmering landscape with breathtaking views of the Luberon and the Abbey of Saint-Hilaire. A large heated swimming pool sparkles in the sunshine, surrounded by a sun terrace with loungers. The inner courtyard is a shady, relaxed space protected from the heat of the midday sun, while evening soirees are held in the outdoor living space.
