This sumptuous villa close to Nikki Beach in St Jean is one of St Bart’s best-kept secrets. This hideaway gives you that true beach-life atmosphere. It makes use of a soft pastel palette and delightful furnishings to create a cosy nest away from the crowds. As the sun dips below the horizon, the views are breathtakingly beautiful. With three bedrooms sleeping up to six guests, Alta Rocca gives you a chance to escape from the pressures of modern life.

While the villa may be tucked away in glorious seclusion, you’re still just a brief walk away from the bright lights of St Jean. This vibrant town is packed full of boutiques, restaurants and bars for when you want to get out and party in the evening. Head down to the beach for an early-morning yoga session to realign your senses, or go for a lazy snorkel in the clear waters and see if you can spot the turtles that call St Barts home.

The villa is full of character and charm. From the pink roof to the wooden structural accents, Alta Rocca has that classic ‘beach hut’ feel that immediately puts you at ease. The main living area is an indoor-outdoor space that makes the most of the incredible views – who needs artworks when you have a vista that good? The kitchen is filled with state-of-the-art appliances and has a homely feel that’s complemented by the relaxed breakfast bar and dining area. The three bedrooms are tranquil oases of calm, using simple white décor that’s enlivened with pops of colour. Bedroom one has twin beds that can be converted to a king-size bed, while bedrooms two and three both have king-size beds. All bedrooms have ensuite facilities and private access to the room.

In the entertainment and fitness area, you’ll find everything you need to keep up with your workouts. Move outside and you’ll find a heated swimming pool, an outdoor sound system and a gas BBQ for those al fresco dining experiences. At Alta Rocca, everything is focused on creating a relaxed, laid-back feeling that’ll soothe your mind, body and soul.
