Soaring above Colombier in the tranquil northwest of the island lies Villa Byzance, a palatial home nestled on the peak of the hillside and boasting uninterrupted views from all vantage points. The distinctive design, influenced stylistically by ancient Greece as the name of the villa would suggest, characterises the beautiful home. Although it is a hidden retreat, neatly tucked away on its clifftop perch, the blonde sands of Colombier Beach remain easily accessible.

Built as a myriad of interconnected pavilions, the villa is an architectural masterpiece. A central patio, complete with elegant columns, connects the different areas and stunning wall to ceiling arched windows direct your gaze outside. You can enjoy the endless westerly views out to the ocean from the chic living room, which opens out onto the sun deck. Both the hot tub and the glistening pool are great places for guests to revitalise and admire the breathtaking panoramas.

The exquisite dining room is built for entertaining. Gather loved ones together and enjoy a rum punch and a delicious meal as the sunset cascades around the island and soaks the villa in light - this is further enhanced by the bright whites adorning the walls throughout the home. A modern kitchen is just waiting for a gourmand to cook the exciting fusion of French and local flavours that St Barts is known for. As night falls, savour the glow of twilight from the decking that leads out from the inside dining space and marvel at the splashes of light that dance on the ocean.

The two magnificent suites are both exquisite and identical in size, with the beds slightly raised in cosy alcoves and tucked underneath superb high beamed ceilings - this is a typical feature found in the West Indies. Both bedrooms contain an intimate lounge and ensuite; the added level of privacy meaning the home is ideally suited for two couples or a small group of friends. The bathrooms both have wide windows to allow light to stream in, making guests feel at one with nature.
