St Barts is a unique island that revels in a heritage that blends French provincial with Afro-Caribbean Creole. The result is an eclectic island with a distinctly laid-back atmosphere that doesn't take itself too seriously. Food is a hugely important part of life here, so expect St Bart's unique take on Creole cooking with a dash more spice and zing. Tangy Accras fritters are best washed down with a feisty rum punch cocktail or three before a languid stroll along one of St Barts' fabulous beaches at sunset.

Small but perfectly formed, Case Thalie is just right for a honeymoon couple or two adults who want to escape the stresses of everyday life. Its relaxed interior is finished to an exceptionally high standard, complementing the surrounding manicured gardens. The interior makes good use of natural tones and earthy elements, and the indoor/outdoor flow captures the transition between spaces and allows the Trade Winds to cool the interior. The living space is cosy, while the kitchen is fully fitted with all the amenities you need. The bedroom has a king-size bed and is flooded with light from the large windows. It's completed with an ensuite with a rainfall shower and soak tub.
