Incorporating unusual interior motifs such as a waxed concrete ceiling in the main living area to reflect the light, it’s a spacious, serene hideaway in the hills of St Barts.

While it may be best known for its white sandy beaches, St Barts is a remarkably lush island with rolling hills covered in forests. As the Trade Winds blow gently across the island, temperatures on St Barts are more comfortable, even in the heat of the day. So there are plenty of opportunities for exploring places such as Corossol, a tiny two-street town that gives you an authentic slice of Caribbean life. St Barts is a fusion of French and Afro-Caribbean cultures, so expect the food to be out of this world. Creole influences dominate – try wahoo, a fish native to the waters around the island.

Here, your personal chef can create some culinary masterpieces while you chill out in the elegant living area with a rum cocktail or three. Take your evening meal out to the al fresco dining area on the terrace, where views across the Caribbean Sea and the sound of the waves on the shore are your backdrop. The villa has four bedrooms split across different levels. Two are duplexes and share the same ensuite, with one occupying a mezzanine area above the other. The remaining two bedrooms are divided between the main level and a separate pavilion. All four bedrooms have king-size beds.

It's the natural wonders that give villa Nature its character. Plants surround the walkways around the villa, and the soft scent of jasmine wafts across the terrace, where you'll also find a large heated pool and jacuzzi.
