With some of the island’s best attractions in easy reach, this villa, which sleeps up to ten in exquisite comfort, is a great location to enjoy the vast beauty of this Caribbean island.

Set atop a hill, Espirit de la Mer is a short distance from Baie Rouge, St Martin’s longest beach. Visit this bay to marvel at its pink-tinged sand, enjoy the laid-back atmosphere, and swim in the clear blue waters. The villa is a short drive from the pretty town of Marigot, with its lush green hills and pretty seafront houses. The town is a quaint mixture of charming boutiques and a waterfront chockful of lovely restaurants - try the island's speciality of crab and rice with a cool Planter's Punch. Espirit de la Mer is also close to one of the island’s most fascinating sites, David’s Hole, an 80-foot sinkhole created by nature, where the waves lap underneath.

Espirit de la Mer has been designed to maximise its enviable location and the views it offers across the rugged cliffs. The bright, white open-plan living room and dining room have huge windows offering a surfeit of those beautiful ocean vistas. Beyond this, you’ll find the inspired kitchen with black granite counters. The heated outdoor swimming pool and the surrounding terrace look straight out over the dazzling blues and greens of the ocean and luscious vegetation below. The main building has three gorgeous double bedrooms, each with a king-size bed and ensuite bathrooms with double sinks. Within the gardens below the main building, you’ll find two further spacious double bedrooms, each with a king-size bed, ensuite bathroom, and a terrace to enjoy.
