This exquisite, sprawling home lies nestled within immaculate emerald green lawns, bright pink bougainvillaea and lush vegetation with sweeping views of St Martin’s famous lazuline ocean. Villa Mariposa remains secluded but is close to amenities and is a short walk to beautiful Plum Beach.

The grand stone pillars, whitewashed walls and terracotta floors edged with painted tiles, which all flow between the interior and exterior, add an elegant, Grecian feel to the villa. The columns situated in the stunning outside terrace frame the curved oversized infinity pool that stretches out to the horizon beyond. Enjoy a refreshing swim here before towelling off and unwinding in the sun in one of the outside seating areas. There are countless places for tranquil moments in the home. You can enjoy some ‘me-time’ in the peaceful living room or enjoy a morning cup of coffee on an upper floor balcony with stunning views of the ocean. For additional privacy, soak up the golden rays in one of the sheltered nooks which contain plush sun loungers dotted around the expansive grounds.

Entertaining is second nature to this home. Adjacent to the interior dining and lounge room is a sleek kitchen fitted with everything required to create an exquisite gourmet meal with fresh ingredients bought that day from one of the local markets at the French capital of Marigot, just a short distance away. Open to the view and sit-up bar, the kitchen connects the chef with guests. Enjoy a delicious meal al fresco on an elevated terrace with spectacular views across the ocean and headland. Later in the evening, enjoy a fun game at the billiards table or recline with loved ones in one of the countless outside lounge areas for a spot of stargazing in the privacy of your own tropical oasis.

Each stunning bedroom features soaring white beamed ceilings, which is characteristic of the island, and the home boasts a unique colour scheme in each of the ensuite bathrooms - each fitted with traditional tiles and sinks from Provence.
