This palatial home is situated in the popular Les Terres Basses area of the island and stretches across multiple floors. A nature lover’s dream, this heavenly hideaway is fit with lush, manicured gardens teeming with tropical flowers and wildlife. Ideally suited to a family or a group of friends, Villa Mer Soleil is an oasis situated in western St Martin, a stone’s through from the powdery sands of Baie Longue Beach.

Graceful arches, rich terracotta roofs and pillars define the entrance of the home which leads onto breathtaking ocean views that showcase westerly facing sunsets. The turquoise pool edged by emerald green foliage takes your gaze out to the horizon and the endless expanse of azure Caribbean Sea - the island of Saba in the Lesser Antilles can also be seen in the distance.

The interiors of this home are simply exquisite, mixing gorgeous rattan furniture, high whitewashed ceilings, travertine tiled floors and tasteful accessories to create a laid-back yet chic Caribbean feel. A large Provençal style kitchen, designed with beautiful wood cabinetry and marble tiles is a focal point - fit even for a professional chef - and flows seamlessly to the outside areas flanked by elegant columns. Here, guests will find the spacious pool terrace that includes a selection of plush sun loungers surrounding the glistening water. Enjoy lively gatherings upon the exquisite blue tile Moroccan inspired al fresco dining area with BBQ and comfortable outdoor lounge, all set to the backdrop of awe-inspiring ocean panoramas.

Three stunning bedrooms are located in the main villa; two on the upper terrace and one on the garden floor. Two additional bedrooms are in a cottage tucked just behind the villa, for extra privacy. All bedrooms have king-sized beds and feature sea or garden views, as well as spacious seating areas both inside and out. The vast ensuite bathrooms offer gorgeous tiles and mosaics, each exuding a distinctive personality. The cottage bedroom suites each have a wet bar and fridge while also providing an interconnecting door, a great feature for families.
