The Chateau Grande at Casteel Creek gives guests access to two one-of-a-kind locations: the nine-bedroom grand main Chateau and its accompanying cosy Ridge House, a lodge with four bedrooms.

Tucked away in Colorado’s Vail Valley, visitors arrive at the secluded location via a picturesque drive through the mountains, crossing a private bridge to offer the utmost privacy and comfort, a true home away from home. The Chateau’s magnificent exterior is truly something to behold, surrounded by snow-topped trees in winter and bathed in glistening sunshine come summer. For skiers, the location is close to Beaver Creek and Vail ski resorts, which can be reached in 45 minutes by car, with plenty of shopping and dining options nearby.

Inside, the decor of the main chateau features exquisite attention to detail with no thought to the interior spared. With a mix of modern and classic interior design, the chateau pairs opulent chandeliers and intriguing artwork with the cosiness of soft furnishings and roaring open fires.

The 30,000-square-foot chateau is comprised of three sections: the main living area, the family wing, and the guest bedroom wing. Multiple living areas give an array of options, whether entertaining guests or seeking peace and quiet, with a 360-degree view of the serene forests and mountains available from almost every location.

For sleeping arrangements, guests are spoiled for choice. The main Chateau offers six king-size bedrooms, two double queen-size bedrooms and a twin bedroom ideally suited to children.

In the Chateau Grande’s accompanying Ridge House, two king-sized beds are available, and a double queen bed and a single queen bed – perfect for extra guests. Although smaller than its sister house, it is no less grand, featuring rustic stone and wood decor, a private office, a dining room with a mountain view, and an outdoor hot tub nestled among the trees. The Chateau Grande estate can accommodate up to 28 guests, with 12 full baths and six half baths.

The main living area of the chateau is a dream come true for adults and children, with an ice cream parlour, ‘Ranch Saloon’ bar and a game room complete with a full-sized pool table and an at-home widescreen movie theatre.

The Chateau’s Wellness centre comes with a fully equipped gym, solarium and massage bed, and a unique indoor/outdoor pool that allows guests to swim in either location. A haven away from the busy outside world, guests can find unrivalled tranquillity among Casteel Creek’s beautiful natural world.
