Angeloni is a dream come true for groups of friends or families wanting a rural Italian escape. Ideally located, the historic city of Lucca is within a 30-minute drive, with the region’s gorgeous coast and sandy beaches are around 45 minutes away.

Sitting within peaceful forested hills, six-bedroom Angeloni is composed of two neighbouring self-contained villas. Both have three bedrooms, making them the perfect size for two families or a mixed group of couples and singles.

A stay here is like stepping back in time, but with all the modern comforts you'd expect. Each villa boasts traditional Tuscan features that reflect the building’s original construction and character, such as soaring wood-beam ceilings and terracotta tiled roofs. Original marble, stone and cotto tiles can be found on the floors and as lovely accents in the bathrooms.

The living spaces of both villas are especially atmospheric, with deep sofas to sink into and grand fireplaces creating a cosy, country manor feel. White walls and neutral-coloured furnishings bring things up to date, as do the modern, fully-equipped kitchens. Each villa features a dining table for enjoying meals separately, or all together, as well as a terrace overlooking the pool.

Both villas have three bedrooms, with all six showcasing the same beautiful wood-beam and tile ceilings that characterise the living spaces. In the three-floor villa, one bedroom has a queen-size bed and two bedrooms feature twin beds each. Found in the two-floor villa are a single bedroom with pull-out bed, and two bedrooms with a double bed each.

Get together in the lawned, olive-tree dotted gardens for al fresco meals, drinks and relaxed gatherings by the swimming pool. The sense of tranquil seclusion can be fully appreciated outside at Angeloni, as you unwind with nothing but lush greenery surrounding you.
