Part of the Casali di Casole estate, the villa is situated in the heart of sprawling 135-acre grounds and enjoys unparalleled views out over the hillsides and valleys that endlessly undulate towards the horizon.

Not far from the atmospheric hilltop village of Mensano and only 25 km from the gothic grandeur of Siena, Casale San Giovanni is a marvellous choice for multi-generational holidays, large families and groups of friends, or special events. Hikers and cyclists will adore the vast trail network that crisscrosses the local area, while foodies will delight in the mouth-watering regional fare. For guests who want something a little busier, the vibrant streets of Siena remain one of Italy’s most underappreciated treasures.

Comprised of two buildings - the main farmhouse and the guest residence - the villa can sleep 12 guests. The main residence consists of four master suites, each with a lavish ensuite bathroom. Three of these rooms are furnished with king-size beds and one with two queen-size beds. In the guest residence, both of the bedrooms include king-size beds and ensuite bathrooms. They also share a sitting room. As well as a traditional farmhouse kitchen with modern appliances and fittings, the villa boasts a dining room with an expansive, 12-seater table, a generous living space with sofas and a fireplace and a modest library.

Outside, a heated infinity pool lets you swim throughout the year, while the fire pit will help you warm up quickly during the winter months. Sun loungers enable you to top up that tan, while the covered pergola is perfect for shade-seekers. While the hot tub is excellent for long, evening soaks, the bocce court will bring out the group’s sporting competitiveness.
