Nestling in the heart of the Tuscan countryside between Florence and Sena, Villa Aiasi is a heritage villa that dates back to the 1400s and was once the home of Roman aristocracy. This exceptional 16-bedroom villa welcomes up to 31 guests, making it an ideal choice for a big family celebration or special anniversary gathering. Every detail is carefully thought out, and the sympathetic restoration of the medieval sections has ensured that key elements are left intact, forming an integral part of the villa's décor and charm.

The nearby village of Monteriggioni is one of the oldest and most recognisable villages in Italy. Entirely encircled by towering stone walls, its crown-like shape has remained unchanged since the 13th century. Today, it's a haven for those who want to experience the true essence and culture of Tuscany. Make sure you have plenty of room on your camera memory card because the views from the 14 towers of Monteriggioni Castle are spectacular. Surrounded by vineyards, it's a budding sommelier's dream, with many wine-tasting tours to choose from. The gourmands of your group will be sated too, with a charming choice of cafés and restaurants serving up delicious local dishes.

The sheer opulence and elegance of Villa Aiasi are apparent in every room. The arched ceilings are subtly complemented by classically-inspired furniture, accented with modern pieces to bring the villa's history to life. This vast villa has so much to offer, including a children's playroom, a television room with a huge plasma screen, a family chapel and a variety of communal spaces and living rooms, each with a unique character. A professional standard kitchen and large dining room lead onto a shaded terrace for larger dinner parties or family occasions. Ancient arches and even a huge corn-grinding mill in situ accentuate the heritage of this incredible villa.

The 16 bedrooms each have a unique decor to give them a boutique feel. The vast majority in the main house and the three-bedroomed annexe are double king-size rooms, with two twin rooms and a large single providing flexible sleeping arrangements for all types of groups. Every bedroom has an attractive ensuite with a soak tub and hand shower or a shower and vanity unit.

A stunning circular garden surrounds the villa, with staggeringly beautiful views. As well as plenty of sun terraces, a tennis court and acres of space to explore, the villa has a large heated pool surrounded by loungers and parasols. Villa Aiasi makes you feel like a Roman aristocrat from the moment you drive up to its sweeping entrance and is the perfect Tuscan hideaway for a special family occasion.
