Villa Cosmica sits quietly in the idyllic Tuscan landscape, surrounded by peaceful olive groves. Look out over the gently rolling hills dotted with charming little villages that you can visit for a taste of traditional Italian cuisine and to buy the freshest local produce. Offering welcoming accommodation for up to eight guests, the villa curates the rural Italian dream, yet the cosmopolitan delights of Pisa and Florence are less than an hour's car ride away.

A visit to Pisa is a joy, and after the obligatory photo next to the famous Leaning Tower, wander the ancient streets, admiring architectural delights such as the historic Baptisterium and the ornate white marble Cathedral of Pisa. A little closer to home, take the short drive to the village of Vinci – the birthplace of Leonardo Da Vinci. Located in the village’s impressive 13th-century castle is the fascinating Museo Leonardiano, which displays drawings and recreations of the artist's inventions, including the helicopter.

Warm and inviting, you'll feel the villa's history in the exposed beams and tiled floors. Carefully sourced antiques, including a stunning 17th-century Northern Italian stone fireplace and chestnut plaque in the spacious living-dining room, can be found throughout. Relax in cosy seating here, enjoying views of the lush gardens; the generously sized kitchen charms with its 250-year-old marble sink, antique tiles, and rustic fireplace.

The villa's four spacious bedrooms feel wonderfully special with their Persian rugs, antique paintings, and ornate wooden furniture, curating an inviting space for restful sleep. The ground-floor bedroom offers a snug double bed with access to a private bathroom. Three further bedrooms are found on the upper floor - two offering a king-size bed, the other two twin beds. One of the king-size bedrooms is ensuite and features a Turkish bath, while the other two share a sumptuous bathroom with a modern aromatherapy jacuzzi bath.

The jewel in the crown of this splendid villa is the large infinity pool with a hydromassage area. Soak up the sun on the loungers beside the pool or find a quiet spot on one of the pretty terraces around the villa to savour the classic Italian vista.
