Named after the French word for a coconut palm, Cocotier combines Parisian elegance with tropical splendour just as its name suggests. A bright and airy home of vaulted ceilings, pops of vivid colour and gorgeous antiques, this home is a stunning hillside retreat for friends or family.

Situated amongst endless rolling views of St. Croix, Puerto Rico and Lovango Cay, Cocotier is wonderfully secluded and yet is just five minutes from the beach and only seven minutes from the vibrant culture and fine dining of Cruz Bay. It is 75 minutes from the airport and lies inside the exclusive gated community of Virgin Grand Estates.

The surrounding verdant foliage and whispering palms make you feel like you’re tucked away in a beautiful tamed wilderness, shaded by the gorgeous terracotta-tiled roofs and adorned with delightful turquoise pillars and stairwells. The great room of Cocotier is a grand, cathedral-like space furnished with exotic teak and mahogany furnishings and hand painted antiques. Here you will find plenty of space for sharing a game, relaxing in front of the satellite TV or sitting down to a formal meal.

The four ensuite bedrooms each boast their own TV with sumptuous designer sheets and carefully-chosen artisan furnishings. The marble-accented bathrooms contain showers that open to the sea and yet ensure total privacy.

Outside the beautiful, Mexican-tiled pool immerses you into the dazzling views and sea breezes or you can sink into the bubbles of the hot tub with a cocktail from the tropical bar. The outdoor dining area is perfectly placed to soak in the sunset, which then gives way to the twinkling lights of St Thomas and the glittering stars above. As the aromas of frangipani and jasmine fill the air, the hushed sway of the coconut palms will promise you a wondrous night’s sleep and yet another day of wonders to come.
