Nestled on a hillside that overlooks the shimmering waters of Long Bay beach below, Alfresco is a gorgeous villa on the west coast of Tortola in the British Virgin Islands. From the sensational views out over the ocean to the inviting pool and two pavilion design, this picture-perfect villa is ideal for those seeking peace, quiet and privacy during their stay, while still being close to the bustling restaurants, bars and beaches along the west coast.

Spread across two pavilions that sit either side of the pool terrace, the villa is characterised by a warm colour palette, from the terracotta-toned flooring to the dark wood furnishings. Offering a cosy spot to gather for a film at the day’s end, the living area is decked out with comfortable sofas, an entertainment centre and music point. As for the kitchen, here you’ll find all the amenities you need to cook your favourite meals, with plenty of sleek granite counter space for preparation. Tuck into your dish at the dining table on the kitchen’s outdoor terrace, which boasts a stunning sea backdrop and lives up to the villa’s ‘al fresco’ namesake.

The focal point of the villa is the pool terrace, with plenty of loungers to lie back on, spots to sit with an ice-cold drink in hand, and incredible views out over the ocean. The large pool is the perfect spot to cool off, as is the handy outdoor shower.

There are three spacious bedrooms at Alfresco, each with a lovely ensuite bathroom and boasting incredible ocean views. One bedroom is located in the main house, below the living room, with a queen-sized bed and stunning ocean views — ideal for those seeking a little privacy during their stay. The other two rooms are located in the guest pavilion, making them ideal for families with children. The lower level bedroom can be accessed off the pool terrace and has a king-sized bed that can be made up as two singles on request. The upper-level bedroom also has a king-sized bed.
