Casa Angelica resides in Borgo Pio, an enchanting medieval quarter between the River Tiber and Vatican City. Enviably close to the Vatican, you can visit the Sistine Chapel and Vatican Museums within minutes of leaving the villa. Take your family or group to the majestic Castel Sant'Angelo, stopping to admire the statue of the Archangel Michael. The Colosseum, Pantheon, and Trevi Fountain are just across the river, putting all of the major cultural icons of Rome at your fingertips. A short train ride or taxi will take you to the neighbourhood of Testaccio, where popular restaurants serve traditional Italian fare, and a fantastic open-air food market awaits you.
