Las Terrenas is the epitome of a picture-postcard Caribbean island destination. Think swaying palm trees rustling in the breeze, the scent of coconut, and the soft sound of the ocean washing against pristine sandy beaches. It’s the place where you go to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This oasis hasn't yet been swamped with hotels or tourist resorts. In short, this is the original Dominican Republic, where you can stroll along a white sand beach, find a beach bar, snack on tostones (fried plantain chips), and sip a potent rum cocktail as the sun sets.

Casa Betel is unique. A central atrium with a water feature dominates the heart of the villa, surrounded by a refined elegance. The open-plan design creates an authentic indoor/outdoor sensation and a vast sensation of space. Bespoke artwork decorates the walls of the living and dining areas. A gourmet-standard kitchen has everything the most demanding chef needs to create culinary masterpieces. The five stately bedrooms are on the upper level and include three king-size bedrooms and two family rooms with two double beds and a single sofa bed in each. All have ensuite bathrooms and spectacular ocean or garden views.

Outside, a large pool forms the focal point of the sun deck, while a short walk will take you to your own stretch of deserted beach, just the spot for some early-morning yoga. Surrounded by lush tropical forests and with a sense of peace and tranquillity, Casa Betel is nothing short of Caribbean perfection.
