The home itself thoughtfully juxtaposes the original features of the building (such as the ornate cornicing and parquet flooring) with contemporary furnishings and artwork, for a balanced, relaxed feel. The living room is illuminated by floor-to-ceiling windows that fill the room with natural daylight. By contrast, the kitchen is an ultra-modern space with a large skylight and monochromatic décor.
