For much of the year, Cannes is a sleepy yet extravagantly elegant seaside town where Lamborghinis and Ferraris purr past classic French apartment buildings and delightful cafés. Every year, the internationally-famous Cannes Film Festival takes place at the Palais Des Festivals, just a ten-minute walk from Villa de Juas. With the casinos and nightlife of Monaco under an hour away, and the sugar-soft sand of Cannes’ gorgeous beaches just four minutes by car, you’re surrounded by nothing but the very best in this spectacular part of France.

Villa de Juas is pure Provencal perfection, from the Juliet balconies down to the lion cornices and sweeping terrace. Inside, palatial living spaces and formal dining rooms, complete with chandeliers and bespoke 19th-century chateau furniture, transport you back to a more refined era. There are five reception rooms, two family rooms, and a charming library with breathtaking views across the pool and towards the sea. The impressive kitchen is professionally equipped with everything a chef needs, while two smaller kitchenettes accessed from the master bedrooms are ideal for rustling up a late-night snack or nibbles to accompany a selection of wines from the wine cellar. The 11 bedrooms are subtly decorated in soft colours that complement the original features of the rooms, creating restful, soothing spaces. On the first floor is one of the master suites with a California King-size bed, ensuite, private dressing room and private balcony. There are four more bedrooms on the first floor, with two king-size and two queen-size beds at your disposal. On the second floor are a second California king-size suite, a double room, and a family room with four single beds and a shared bathroom. The garden level has three cosy queen-size bedrooms. All three beds can be converted into two single beds apiece if required.
