Set within the gated resort of Sugar Hill on Barbados’ western coast, Illusion is a custom-built villa ideal for groups in search of something special. Modern design and natural light blend beautifully to create a warm and welcoming space in which to relax. Glass front doors open into the villa’s spacious hallway, through which appear the twinkling waters of the Caribbean Sea. With the three walls of folding windows pared back, the spacious dining area transforms into an al fresco haven. The garden’s ancient mahogany trees and swaying palms complete the scene.

Away from the villa, Sugar Hill resort offers guests a seemingly endless range of entertainment. You can enjoy the welcoming clubhouse, savour fresh Caribbean flavours in the restaurant, or practise your serve on the championship tennis courts – where stars including Serena Williams have played. The luxury shops and top-flight restaurants of Holetown are within easy reach too, for those occasions when you might like a change of scenery.

Illusion offers four bedrooms - each with a king-size bed, ensuite facilities and a private, covered terrace. The master sits on the first floor and boasts a second living space, walk-in wardrobe and spectacular sea views. Centred in the heart of the main terrace, the villa’s elegant swimming pool is the perfect place to unwind or cool off in the Caribbean sunshine. The pool area also houses a BBQ and two gazebos, one with a kitchenette and the other with an outdoor dining space - and with private chef and butler services available, Illusion offers everything you could wish to make the most of this idyllic island setting.
