Perched on the cliff edge of Jamaica’s desirable north coast, Kai Kala can be found near the lively town of Ocho Rios. The verdant grounds span well over two acres, and contain an abundance of fruit trees and flowers: breadfruit, mango, naseberry, pimento and wild orchids, to name a few. Spread across four buildings, the home promises splendid views across the sparkling turquoise ocean.

Featuring extensive use of natural materials, the villa’s contemporary Caribbean interiors are made from wood, bamboo and carved stone. While the furnishings mostly offer typical island charm, occasional artistic touches bring a unique character to the villa, such as wooden bar stools shaped like hands. Water features and a shimmering koi pond create an ambiance of pure tranquillity.

Outside, you’ll find all the space and amenities you’ll need to spend your days however you wish while your personal butler tends to the little details. Swim leisurely in the gorgeous saltwater pool, work up a sweat on the tennis court, or recline on a sun lounger with a cool glass of wine. The wooden jetty descends straight into the azure waves, while the warm sands of Bamboo Beach are just a short stroll away. Come evening, enjoy a delicious al fresco dinner carefully curated by the villa’s chef, then head to the hot tub for a soak under the stars.

A veritable palace, Kai Kala is comprised of ten bedrooms, making it perfect for those celebrating a special occasion or families with older children gathering for a reunion.
