This gorgeous five-bedroom villa in the exclusive community of Les Terres Basses is a cliffside villa with breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea and the neighbouring island of Anguilla. La Dacha offers peace, serenity and seclusion for up to ten discerning guests looking for the ultimate paradise island escape in the sun.

Sitting on the western tip of St Martin, Les Terres Basses is a tranquil private community where the sandy beaches and turquoise blue waters of Simpson Bay Lagoon create the quintessential Caribbean setting. Nearby, three spectacular beaches offer you all the space in the world to stretch out and relax. Baie Rouge is the quietest of the three, where the only footprints on the sand are your own. Baie Longue is filled with glamorous visitors soaking up the sun, while Plum Bay is home to some of the best surfing on the island, as well as plenty of other water sports.

La Dacha's gardens lead guests into the cool interior, where bespoke furniture and gleaming Italian marble give the living areas a refined, elegant atmosphere. The blues and greens of the ocean outside are reflected in the furnishings, adding vibrant colour to the neutral interior décor. The kitchen is exquisite, with picture windows looking out onto the ocean and polished granite worktops complementing the top-of-the-range appliances. The dining room has a touch of Caribbean authenticity to it, with a vaulted ceiling and traditional cane chairs.

Three of the bedrooms are on the main level and include two king-size suites and a family-friendly bedroom with two queen-size beds. The lower level has two more bedrooms, one of which has an unusual underwater window feature looking into the pool, while the other has its own living room. These king-size bedrooms have independent outside access via a stone staircase.

The gardens and sun deck encourage guests to make the most of the outdoors, with those exceptional views that are at their best as the sun sets. A large infinity pool is a perfect spot for a morning swim, while stone steps lead to a separate gym so guests can stay on track with their workouts. With every conceivable detail taken care of and those magnificent St Martin vistas to enjoy from every direction, La Dacha is a magical retreat under the warm Caribbean sun.
