Feuillantines is an exquisite four-bedroom Paris town house that welcomes up to eight guests. Opulent interiors and a desirable location on the Left Bank in fashionable Montparnasse make this an idyllic location from which to explore the attractions of Paris. A classical interior is balanced by modern touches, creating a family home that manages to be at once unique and quintessentially Parisian.
The striking tower dominates Montparnasse, but this eclectic location straddles three of Paris' most fashionable Arrondissements and offers much more than Brutalist architecture. Stroll down the bustling boulevards, and you'll discover traditional charcuteries selling the most delicious cold meats and boulangeries selling fresh baguettes and mouthwatering pastries. This part of Paris has a relaxed, laid-back feel and was once where writers, poets, musicians and artists gathered to exchange ideas. Montparnasse retains a cultural ambience to this day, with theatres and galleries sitting alongside the delicatessens and restaurants.
The bold red and white frontage with traditional wrought-iron Juliet balconies gives this magnificent home the appearance of a chateau, with a grand double staircase leading up to the stately double front door. Once inside, the chateau-like features continue, with a living room featuring a large library, ornate cornices, ceiling roses, chandeliers, and Old Masters-style paintings. The honey-coloured herringbone flooring gives it a soft, warm tone that balances the neutral palette and Regency style furnishings. Onefinestay is like Airbnb, in terms of getting to live like the locals, but it's like a hotel, in terms of amenities and having a concierge. Highly recommend, especially if traveling in a group or with family.
